Update:

Surya Life Insurance Company Limited (SLICL) and Jyoti Life Insurance Company Limited (JLI) have signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) of the merger.

In line with the directive issued by the Insurance Board instructing the insurance companies to increase their paid-up capital, insurance companies have initiated merger and acquisition process.

Update:

Surya Life and Jyoti Life Insurance have declared that the joint operation of these companies will kick off from 7th Paush 2079. Both companies have successfully completed the process of merger with each other under the brand name Surya Jyoti Life Insurance Company Limited.
